Student at Law (Articling) in the Cannabis Industry
When newly graduated lawyers think about kicking off their corporate law careers, working at a cannabis company may not be the first place that comes to mind when starting their practice. Yet here we are! The Canadian cannabis industry is turning out to be an excellent training ground for both budding and seasoned lawyers alike.
Meet Samara Doobay our very first “student at law” (articling student). Samara joined us in April 2021, just in time to transition the company from WeedMD Inc., to Entourage Health Corp.

Exposed to a wide range of files: from regulatory and compliance; mergers and acquisitions; to negotiating contracts; reviewing company financial disclosures and engaging in employment law, Samara is continuously adding to her legal skillset.
